CEA Update for October 31, 2007
This week Id like to take the time to mention a recurring issue; namely spamming by third party advertisers on site.
Ive mentioned this issue previously during the CEA Update for September 5.
This issue is an ongoing problem and we are working to prevent new account creation by what appears to be the same spammer(s) who return repeatedly.
As I discussed in the previous update the content of the notes being spammed remains pretty much the same or similar enough to be immediately recognizable. And again I must warn everyone against clicking on the outside link which is provided in the spam.
