Description
Well, every pony and their mother has their own interpretation of Star Swirl the Bearded, so I figured I'd finally share mine 
He's a tan unicorn with a blue horn- a rare mutation that affects more than just colour, the alternate shape of his horn amplifies his magical powers, which is why he was such a proficient user of magic in his time; and possibly one of the most powerful ponies, as Celestia and Luna were not around.
He's a very wise, and very cunning pony, who had many students during his lifetime, but his last was his most powerful; Clover. Clover learned a multitude of spells and information from him, but never really knew much about the pony himself, other than that he wasn't someone you should cross.
He vanished on a journey, shortly before the great storms came and ravaged the homelands of the various pony races. No one knows what happened to him, no one could ever find him...
...and then Discord came...
Do you want me to give you the full story that goes with this doodle too? Then just ask and I'll draw a -short- comic about it XD; Though I won't do it if no one will read it lol, I'm pretty certain you can probably guess

The theory of discord being Star Swirl makes sense. Star Swirls spell was meant to switch friends, but Star Swirl diddnt have any friends or understand friendship. So instead, the spell switched his whole body. When Twilight cast the spell, it changed the others' destiny as well as memories as to what they thought their talents were. So when Star Swirl used the spell, it changed his destiny into discord.
Also in the episode 'threes a crowd' discord 'coincidentally' became sick and made Twilight leave the Star Swirl museum. If any pony could figure this out it would be Twilight. Rather then this being a simple friendship test, it seems like discord was taking her away from the museum so she couldn't find out the truth. At least that's what I think
